From the early 1970’s on, John Denver was very likely responsible for the sales of tens of thousands of acoustic guitars in music shops around the world, with every make from Guild to Taylor. He and his music played an integral part of the popularity of acoustic music of the past forty years… as well as the phenomenal success of today’s acoustic guitar building community.
My name is Jeff Pine, together with my friend Pete Mikelson, we have spent the past decade researching the history of John Denver’s guitars, his band member’s instruments, and the Yamaha L-53 model in particular. We are happy to share what we have learned with you, our fellow John Denver fans.
